The Furstentum is mentionned in 1330 in the inventory of vineyards belonging to the Convent of Basle.
The brown calcareous soil has a pebbly structure, skeletal and filtering, with outcrops of bedrock.
The steep (37%) slope optimises exposure to the sun, on a soil which accumulates both heat and moisture. Conditions are ideal for producing exceptional wines.
Our Pinot Gris has a great finesse, it is a rich and complex wine, fresh and with remarkably powerful aromas.
